Petrol's Parts

Petrol's Parts is a collection of components for transferring rotational force in Create. There are no retextured Cogwheels or "blackboxes" - every component provides a new connection not available in base Create, and all are satisfyingly animated.

Most of the kinetic components were ported from Destroy into this separate mod so you don't have to deal with the parts of Destroy I actually spent time on.

Petrol's Parts (note: the mod is not called "Create: Petrol's Parts") adds the following kinetic components: - Hydraulic Transmission and Hydraulic Transmission - Cogwheels whose Shafts and teeth rotate independently - Hydraulic Transmission - take a guess - Hydraulic Transmission - rotates at the sum of its two input speeds - Hydraulic Transmission - modified Large Cogwheel - Hydraulic Transmission - a 5x5 ring gear - Hydraulic Transmission - end-game cheater part that can connect kinetics in almost any way

It also adds: - Redstone Programmer - allows filtering Filling, Pressing, Deploying, Blasting, Haunting, Smoking and Splashing recipes - Redstone Programmer - like the Hydraulic Transmission, but moves Items - Redstone Programmer - essentially a MIDI editor for Redstone signals, making it easier to make music and automate with Redstone Links - Encasing Crushing Wheels (this is a feature from the Library) which allows Crushing and Milling recipes to be filtered

All have Ponders explaining them. Apart from the Hydraulic Transmission, none of them too easily allow you to make connections that are difficult in base Create, but they do still disrupt the 'intended' core Create gameplay of rotation-force-connection-puzzles, so modpack authors may wish to gate the recipes for Petrol's Parts components. There are config options to more easily disable recipes for any component.
