<h1>Skyliner Modern: A Neutral font for Minecraft</h1>
<h3>Legibility!</h3>
<p>Skyliner Modern serves as a more legible alternative to Minecraft's iconic "Mojangles." It prioritizes clarity, simplicity, and readability.</p>
<p>I designed Skyliner Modern as a permutation of a typeface I created called Geo, a grotesk with a hint of geometric influence. Geo was intended to be highly legible and tonally neutral, while retaining some of the warmth and character found in geometric typefaces without becoming too stylized.</p>
<p>For Skyliner Modern, I adapted Geo to a 32x32 pixel grid, modifying some characters to read better in pixel resolution. I've adjusted certain letterforms to accommodate Minecraft's built-in kerning tables, so the letter spacing remains fairly even.</p>
<p>I hope you enjoy my font!</p>
