Sleepless Den has been updated to include Create 6.0 and recreated from the ground up!

Welcome to the Sleepless Den.

This curated modpack focuses on "Hard" and %%MD1%%. Gearing is primarily done with %%MD2%%. This modpack will be balanced around "Hard" difficulty.

There is no easy teleportation via Waystones in this modpack in order to encourage everyone to play around Ars' Portals, and Create's Trains.

Also to encourage building, somewhat easy access to certain infinite resources can be had via Create Mechanical Extruder and Create Sifting.

Also to encourage a heavier production on the Create side, Ars Nouveaus resource generation has been tuned down to cost more for Drygmy production and Portal costs.

Changes to Core Mechanics

These are some important but non exhaustive changes to core mechanics.

Movement

- You can now parkour with ParCool!

Combat

- Dual wield and combat changes with Better Combat - You can now parry to deflect blows and deal retaliatory damage with Shield Expansion

Death and Spawning

- You can set a temporary spawn with Campfire Spawn and Tweaks - There's a whole death-centered expansion with Corail Tombstone - Combine the grave key with an ender pearl and you can teleport to your grave, nice and easy. - In multiplayer, your friends can revive you with PlayerRevive

Food and Farming

- Blaze rods can be grown via Valheim's food system replaces the vanilla food system with Spice of Life: Valheim Edition - Ender pearls can be grown via %%MD1%% - Valheim's food system replaces the vanilla food system with Spice of Life: Valheim Edition

Keybinds and Configs have been changed from their defaults

- Please explore the new KeyBind Bundles mod. It allows for a key to work for multiple binds. Here are some of the pre-configured bundles: ``` ` - Opens up settings for several mods . - Toggles Mute on Voicechat LShift - Sprint (Changed for ease of use with Parcool) LCtrl - Sneak (Changed for ease of use with Parcool) Alt+B - Opens up Sophisticated Backpack binds R - Quick Cast Spell 1 T - Toggle Spellbook H - Ars Nouveau Key Bundle

While in a chest, X - Extract all Items Z - Insert all Items LShift+X - Extract similar stacks you have LShift+Z - Insert similar stacks in chest ``` - You can set a favourite by right-clicking a selection. Doing so will require you to press alt+key to access the key bundle again. - Please feel free to change the bind and config settings to ones that suit you.

Server Hosting

To avoid first time crash for the server, you will need to do additional exclusions of `freecam` and `keymap`.

Otherwise, just relaunch the server and it will fix itself. On a new world load I recommend to the following commands: ``` /gamerule playersSleepingPercentage 40 /chunky spawn /chunky radius 2500 /chunky start ``` This sets the player sleeping percentage to 40, as well as pre-generates a radius of 2500 blocks around spawn.

Versioning

Versions follow the following general rules: Version: A.B.C A = Major Version; Requires Clients to use a new Instance. Major mod content introduction such as Create, Ars, Mekanism, Tinkers B = Minor Version; Requires Clients to use a new Instance.
