The CookieCraft Experience

This is a client-side modpack designed primarily (but not exclusively) for the CookieCraft Minecraft server. It focuses on including mods that enchance performance and improve overall quality of life while trying to maintain a vanilla feel. Designed to be accessible for people new to modding but also expandable and powerful as you learn it. Since this is a fresh install of Minecraft, you'll have to set your keybinds and preferred settings.

This pack prefers 6-8GB of RAM!

Set it by going to the pack >> `settings cog` next to "Play" >> `Java and memory` >> Check `Custom memory allocation` >> 6000

Some notable mods in the pack and what they do:

- There are many performance mods. Enjoy more frames! - Crafting tweaks gives you a "balance crafting table" button. Great for crafting lots of items! - You now have a borderless windowed option for those who use it. - You now have shaders. Some preconfigured shaders are installed. You can enable them in Options > Shaders. They're labelled from `Low` to `VeryHigh` performance requirements. For the more demanding shaders, 8GB of RAM is reccomended. - A few resource packs are included for you to experiment with. - MouseTweaks allows you to move items around your inventory faster and smoother! - NoCapsLock means no more accidental CAPS in chat! - You now have a few basic chat tools (Search, right click copy) along with a much longer chat history. - JourneyMap is our minimap. Waypoints can be set with `B`. This can also be swapped with Xaero's for those who prefer it. - A better stonecutter GUI for really large builds! - You can now see the contents of a shulker and how full it is. For specifics, hold shift while hovering over it. - REI is the modern JEI. You can search items at the bottom, check recipes, double click the search bar to highlight items, and even do math equations! - ViaFabricPlus lets you select version compatability on the server list screen. - Use WorldEdit commands in your singleplayer worlds! - Do `/wiki itemname` in chat to get direct links to the minecraft wiki! - DistantHorizons allows you to have insane render distances! - Fullbright bound to `Z` by default. Change Anemos' binding from `Toggle Fake Night Vision` to `Toggle Max Gamma` if you more often run without shaders. - You can search for items inside your chest monsters! Every time you open a chest that information is saved. You can then press `G` to search and locate specific items.
