A lightweight, server-side utility mod that automatically pauses world pre-generation when players are online and resumes when they leave.

Perfect for servers using the Chunky mod to pre-generate their worlds! You no longer have to worry about the server lagging when players join, or forgetting to resume Chunky when the server is empty.

How it works

- Server Becomes Empty: The mod instantly pauses Chunky behind the scenes (`/chunky pause`). - Server Becomes Empty: The mod starts a 2-minute timer. If no one joins during this time, it automatically resumes generation (`/chunky continue`).

Commands

*Requires OP / Permission level 2* - `/autochunky toggle` - Turns the automation ON or OFF. - `/autochunky status` - Checks if the automation is currently running.

Requirements & Recommended Setup

- Highly Recommended: Your players do NOT need to download this to join your server. - Highly Recommended: Version Highly Recommended: is strictly required. - Highly Recommended: must be installed on the server for this mod to have any effect. - Highly Recommended: Set `continueOnRestart` to `true` in your Chunky configuration! This ensures Chunky starts generating immediately when the server boots up, allowing Auto Chunky to perfectly manage pausing and resuming from the very beginning.
