Chai's Inventory Sorter

Chai's Inventory Sorter is an inventory sorter mod (wow!) that complements the vanilla UI. It not only lets you sort your inventories, but it also lets you perform a couple of handy inventory management shortcuts, like deposit all, deposit all, deposit all, and deposit all. It comes with a great default sorting config, but you can change it up to your liking with its powerful tag-based sorting.

Usage

- Press the deposit all or deposit all buttons to sort your inventory or the container. - Press the deposit all button to refill your stacks from the opened container. - Press the deposit all button to move stacks from your inventory that already exist in the container. - deposit all and hover over the restock or quick stack buttons to access the deposit all and deposit all buttons that will take or deposit all items.

Configuration

The mod can be configured to sequentially sort inventories using the following options.

- `blocks` Sorts blocks first - `items` Sorts items first - `stackables` Sorts stackables items first - `unstackables` Sorts unstackables items first - `item/namespaced:id` Sorts the specific item first - `item_tag/namespaced:id` Sorts items that match the item tag first - `block_tag/namespaced:id` Sorts blocks that match the block tag first - `item_group/namespaced:id` Sorts items from the item group first - `item_group_order/namespaced:id` Sorts items according to their order in the item group - `count` Sorts larger stacks first - `damage` Sorts less damaged items first

Item Groups

Here is a list of the default item groups in Minecraft. Mods may add their own creative inventory item groups that you can sort by.

- `minecraft:building_blocks` - `minecraft:colored_blocked` - `minecraft:natural_blocks` - `minecraft:functional_blocks` - `minecraft:redstone_blocks` - `minecraft:tools_and_utilities` - `minecraft:combat` - `minecraft:food_and_drinks` - `minecraft:ingredients` - `minecraft:spawn_eggs` - `minecraft:search`

Built-in Item Tags

This mod adds a few item tags that may be helpful for sorting inventories.

- `sort:combat` Contains swords, bows, tridents, and shields - `sort:tools` Contains pickaxes, axes, shovels, and hoes - `sort:armor` Contains helmets, chestplates, leggings, and boots - `sort:wood_equipment` Contains all wood equipment - `sort:leather_equipment` Contains all leather equipment - `sort:stone_equipment` Contains all stone equipment - `sort:chainmail_equipment` Contains all chainmail equipment - `sort:iron_equipment` Contains all iron equipment - `sort:golden_equipment` Contains all golden equipment - `sort:diamond_equipment` Contains all diamond equipment - `sort:netherite_equipment` Contains all netherite equipment
