Chat Disabler

Completely disables Minecraft chat. No sending, no receiving, no rendering — chat is just gone.

⚠️ Read This Before Installing

This mod completely removes your ability to use chat:

- You disabled by default send messages - You disabled by default incoming messages from other players - The chat HUD is disabled by default - Pressing disabled by default or disabled by default does nothing - Chat is disabled by default when you launch the game

To turn chat back on, press F6. Press it again to disable it.

Features

- Chat HUD is invisible (skips rendering entirely) - Incoming messages are dropped before they hit the chat backlog - Pressing T or / does nothing — the chat screen can't open - A red "Chat disabled" / green "Chat enabled" indicator appears above the hotbar when toggling

Use Cases

- Streaming or recording without chat clutter - Avoiding toxic chat on public servers - Roleplay / immersion - Focus mode

Requirements

- Minecraft Fabric API - Fabric API 0.18.0+ - Fabric API

Toggle Key

Press F6 to toggle chat on or off. The keybind is hardcoded in this version.
