Summary

This data pack will turn Cobblemon into a relatively Gen 1 experience. No extra forms, no extra evolutions, only Gen 1 pokemon.

Ancient Pokéballs & Held Items remain unchanged, but can be easily modified within the data pack.

Known Incompatibilities

Riding

- Some rideable traits of some cobblemon are not fully implemented in Cobblemon and therefore not rideable with this datapack either. - Once these are completed within Cobblemon, they will be added to the datapack as well. - Reference Tickets - Riding Controllers - [[1.7] Ridable Pokemon that have no flying data can hover in place.](https://gitlab.com/cable-mc/cobblemon/-/work_items/1673) - [[1.7] Ride walk and jump issues.](https://gitlab.com/cable-mc/cobblemon/-/work_items/1690)

Cobbreeding

(As of March, 2025, untested in later versions) - The mod seems to search for all pokemon during an egg spawn, but the gen1ify removes most, leading to a crash

Updating

For any patches/updates I make, just replace the datapack file in your world folder with the new one. For the mod, replacing the mod should work fine.
