HB's Performance Baseline Pack (Forge)

HB's Baseline Performance modpack is a pack built for Minecraft forge 1.20.1 designed to consolidate the most important and most effective performance mods for this version. This pack may serve as a base set of mods to build from, or to benchmark your computer's performance using a lightweight pack and compare your results to mine or others. If you find other mods that significantly improve performance on this version of Forge, please let me know.

This modpack is clientside only. See clientside only) for a version for indepedent servers which removes the clienside only mods.

Performance Considerations: - FPS - Memory Usage - GPU Utilization - CPU Utilization - Efficient Chunk Loading - Shader Support - Expensive Terrain Altering Mods (Terralith, Tectonic, tested but not included with pack)

Untested Performance Improvements: - FPS when considering performance demanding blocks (ImmediatelyFast has a good review ) - FPS/Chunk loading with significant entity spawning (i.e Alex's mobs) - FPS/Chunk loading with substantial structure generation/real time ore distribution mods
