HMI Item Position Fix
Fixes misaligned first-person items for the Hold My Items mod
HMI Item Position Fix

The Hold My Items mod brings visible first-person hands and stunning animations to the game, but it shifts the position of items in the player's hand, causing most of them to appear misaligned. This pack fixes that — every single item is carefully repositioned to sit exactly where it should.
> This resource pack requires the Respackopts mod to function correctly.
🛠️ Compatibility & Sinergy
This pack includes full compatibility support for the most popular 3D resource packs. When multiple packs are active at the same time, their item positioning adjustments can stack and conflict with each other — by manually enabling the corresponding toggles in the settings, this pack applies the correct corrections for every combination, so everything stays perfectly aligned no matter what you're running.

📥 Load Order
To ensure correct positioning, follow this load order:
1. Hold My Actions 2. Hold My Actions (Fresh Foods, Seeds, Torches, etc.) 3. Hold My Actions 4. Hold My Actions 5. Hold My Actions 6. Hold My Actions 7. Hold My Actions or Hold My Actions (if you are using NNE Action Swords) or Hold My Actions
> For some reason, `Fyoncle's 3D Trims` must always be placed above `Just 3D Armors`, `R&V Torches`, `Refined Torches`, and `Fresh Foods`. This is necessary to ensure that item positioning and physics do not break. As a precaution, always keep `Fyoncle's 3D Trims` at the very top of your load order.
> For `NNE Action Swords` to work properly, its author requires you to replace the HMI `Example Pack` with their `[HMI] REANIMATED` version, which disables sword battle animations. Make sure to keep `[HMI] REANIMATED` below `HMI Item Position Fix` in the load order.

⚠️ Know Problems
Lanterns
Lanterns are handled by many resource packs and are particularly prone to conflicts. The known issues are:
- Glow particles misaligned when using `W3DI + Refined Torches` - Broken physics and positioning when using `W3DI + R&V Torches`
If you are using `W3DI` together with `R&V Torches`, make sure to enable the "Resource Pack Lanterns" option and disable both "Fresh Animations Player Enabled" and "Not Enough Animations Enabled". If you are not using `W3DI`, keep "Resource Pack Lanterns" disabled. This should resolve the conflicts between `R&V Torches` and `W3DI`.
As for the glow particle misalignment when using `W3DI` together with `Refined Torches`, there is no fix. This is not something that can be corrected through `HMI Item Position Fix`, as there is no way to remove or reposition the glow particles applied by `Refined Torches`. If you still choose to use `Refined Torches` alongside `W3DI`, make sure both "Fa Player" and "Not Enough Animations" options are disabled, to avoid breaking lantern positioning entirely.
The Clock
For some reason, the clock model breaks when using `A3DS` together with `W3DI`. This is likewise not something that can be corrected through `HMI Item Position Fix`.
The EMF Problem
HMI may cause visual glitches when used together with the Entity Model Features (EMF) mod. To fix this, install Mod Menu, open the Mods menu, and locate EMF. In its options, navigate to the Models section and, under Player Settings, turn on "Prevent first person player animations".
If you are using EMF version 3.0.12 or higher, you may encounter item misalignment. This is due to an incompatibility between HMI and EMF. To fix this, simply downgrade your EMF version to 3.0.11.
