Atmospheric Pressure

# ๐ Atmospheric Pressure
Atmospheric Pressure is a survival-enhancing mod that adds a new layer of realism and challenge to your Minecraft world. Your environment now reacts to your altitude, forcing you to prepare before venturing into the highest peaks or the deepest caves.
## ๐ก๏ธ Key Features
### [Altitude Sickness] โฐ๏ธ
When climbing above Y = 150 without proper protection, the thin air will cause Mining Fatigue, making it much harder to gather resources on high mountains.
### [Deep-Sea Pressure] ๐ณ๏ธ
Venturing into the depths below Y = 0 without the right gear will subject you to intense pressure, resulting in a Slowness effect that hinders your movement.
### [Specialized Gear] ๐ ๏ธ
To survive these harsh conditions, you must craft and wear specialized equipment:
Oxygen Mask: Protects you from high-altitude fatigue (Equip in Helmet slot).
Pressure Boots: Allows you to move freely in deep-pressure zones (Equip in Boots slot).
Atmospheric Phenomena

๐งพ About:
Atmospheric Phenomena adds exciting mechanics from the world surface up to upper limits of the atmosphere. A variety of new blocks can be obtained by discovering meteorite impact craters and harnessing the energy from lightning to vitrify blocks.
The mod is currently for Neoforge on 1.20.4.
๐ Features:
Meteorites and Craters
Impact craters can be found across the landscape, indicating historic meteoric events. Some of these craters may be completely filled in, with their meteorite remnants completely buried beneath the surface. There are 7 new types of meteor blocks in addition to several vanilla variants. These blocks can be chiseled or made into bricks. Some meteorites contain a core made out of another material that can generally be used as an ore or gemstone. Meteorites are currently only found in the Overworld.

Falling Meteoroids
Not all meteorites are found in holes on the ground. Some are still coming down from the sky! Falling meteors and comets will occasionally dot the skies using settings from the config. Some meteoroids will burn up in the atmosphere and explode like a firework. Others will make it to the ground and create impact craters upon landing. Craters can turned off using the new Gamerule “createImpactCraters” set to false.

Capsules
Storage containers originating from inside meteoroids with a custom loottable. They have 16 slots of storage and can be carried while retaining their contents. Hoppers are the only way to move items in and out of the container as they have no gui.

Smithing Upgrade
One item found naturally inside capsules is the Otherworldly Upgrade smithing template. This template can be used to apply bonuses to existing equipment using the new meteoric materials.

Lightning Effects
Lightning heats up the ground to significant temperatures which causes earthen material to vitrify. Sand is turned to glass; dirt and stone into fulgurites; and logs will start burning. The energy of a lightning strike can be directed along the ground using conductive blocks (generally metal) and dissipate the energy into adjacent blocks. Dissipated energy will vitrify blocks, but that energy can also be stored in certain blocks and used at a later time.

Atmospheric Paintings
This mod was created out of lust for some real life beauty to enter Minecraft.
Mod adds over 40 new paintings created by some unfortunately long gone legends like Leonardo da Vinci.
Also at [CURSEFORGE](https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/jess-painting-pack)
The selection of painting will increase as the time goes on but, if you have a favourite piece feel free to suggest it!

Atmospheric Nether (Datapack)
Atmospheric Nether expands on the Nether by altering major worldgen aspects while keeping in mind adventure and exploration as well as technical aspects of Minecraft. This pack is made to be geographically and geologically immersive and imaginative.
## This form of the project has been discontinued. To see the latest [modded] version: [Atmospheric Nether](https://modrinth.com/mod/atmospheric-nether-mod)
First, the Nether, from bedrock floor to ceiling, extends from -64 to 256, with another 64 blocks above the Nether roof to play with.
The major features of this datapack include the following:
– There are now “continental” regions of the Nether. These regions host valley-like terrain and plateaus, as well as the occasional peak. These regions are surrounded by towering and dramatic cliff faces that most times reach the netherrack ceiling. Often at the center of these continents are remnants of volcanic activity, and sometimes extremely vast oceans of lava left over from the geological phenomenon.
– The continental boundaries are often carved into by the rivers of lava flowing all over the continents. The resulting subterranean rivers often twist and turn underneath the mountain ranges, and sometimes cut right through. Perhaps a strider could be of use navigating the terrain here!
– In the deeper portions of the Nether, Overworld-like cave generation has been added. Large, smooth, and expansive caves mix with noodle and sphagetti caves to form vast networks.
– Entrance caves form underground as well, and are randomly sealed near the surfaces of continents. These caves are completely sealed beyond the continental boundaries.
In addition, 27 new biomes have been added, comprised of:
– 7 new forest biomes
– 9 new cave biomes
– 5 subterranean river biomes
– 6 other “surface” biomes
These biomes are designed to interplay with each other to tell a story about the Nether and its nature. What story that is, is up to you.
Have fun exploring and finding all of them!
NOTES:
– I highly recommend pregenerating the Nether to your desired distance. It can be slow to generate and take up plenty of RAM!
– The vanilla ancient debris y-levels are unchanged.
Spoiler
There is a biome where ancient debris spawns more frequently and in larger blobs. It is up to you to find out where and at what level.

Atlas Core
# Atlas Core
### A mod library for Atlas Projects
***
A simple library that currently provides a command library and a robust config system, if admittedly incomplete.
However, it will be expanded to suit more needs as time progresses, and improvements to the config will be made.
***
#### Commands
***
As of right now, the command library consists of adding an argument type that allows you to use interchangeable arguments, as in, if certain arguments are not needed, then one can have the user specify the arguments provided with proper suggestions in the format <arg_name>=<arg_value>.
However, in the future the plan is to create a parameters argument which allows you to insert [–someArg value -someOtherArg], matching usual command line parameters, with suggestions for what to input.
In addition, eventually an easier way to achieve wanted results for vanilla argument types and ones which are added by Atlas Core when they are used as opts arguments.
***
#### Configs
***
By default, configs are stored in ./config/<mod_id>/<config_path>.json, which is where you will be able to access and edit them.
If the config has a GUI, it will appear in the Atlas Configs menu inside of Options on both pause screen and title screen. If Mod Menu is installed, the Atlas Configs menu appears as the config for Atlas Core. If a mod has an attached default config with a screen, it will become the config screen for that mod in Mod Menu.
Configs can also be read or manipulated using the command /atlas_config, which lets you reset, read, or reload configs all at once, reset, read, or reload a particular config, or edit, reset, or retrieve the value of a specific option.
