– Wilden meat dropped by killing wilden hunter with knife
– Chimera meat dropped by killing chimera with knife

– Blast Resistance: reduce incoming explosion damage.
– Freezing Spell: your spell damage inflict freezing effect.
– Flourishing: when you heals, restore mana at the same time
– synchronized Shield: when you heals, restore absorption at the same time, up to 4 hearts
– Wilden: increase max mana, mana restoration, and spell damage

## **ArsArms is an integration addon for TaCZ and Ars Nouveau.**

### **Highlights**
* You can now fire Ars Nouveau spells using TaCZ guns. Since the spells are launched from firearms, they shoot faster!
* To continuously cast spells beyond your current mana level, you can store mana in an ammo box in advance!
* Ars Nouveau spells are triggered via the _Reactive_ enchantment, so they do not interfere with TaCZ’s default firing modes. It’s safe to use.
* Spell power scales with the damage of the gun used! You can fine-tune the exact damage values in the config settings.
### **How to Use**
1. Use the Ars Nouveau enchanting apparatus to apply a **Reactive enchantment** with your desired spell to an **ammo box**.
⚠️ _Note: This can only be done using the Ars Nouveau enchanting apparatus. Additionally, make sure the spell’s starting glyph is set to **Touch**._
2. Insert ammunition into the ammo box.
3. Placing the ammo box in a **Curios slot** charges mana.
4. While the ammo box is in the **Curios slot**, reload your gun. The gun will switch to **magic mode**, allowing it to cast spells.
⚠️ _Note: For guns that do not require reloading, please fire them while holding the ammo box in the **Curios slot**_.
### **Notes**
* The enchantment must be applied using the **Ars Nouveau enchanting apparatus**. Other enchanting methods will not work.
* The spell you assign must **start with the Touch glyph**. This is required for proper activation.

### **Settings**
* `damageMultiplier (Default: 1.0)`
The damage multiplier for bullets fired from TaCZ guns.
_Higher values result in increased damage._
* `damageAmplifier (Default: 15.0)`
The magic damage amplification value for bullets fired from TaCZ guns.
_Higher values result in **lower** damage._

# Ars Unification
Lets Ars Nouveau take recipes from other mods.
Currently, the mod will take Crush and Cut type recipes and let the respective glyphs use them.
If [Not Enough Glyphs](https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/not-enough-glyphs) is present,
processing capabilities will also be given to its Flatten glyph for Press type recipes.
I will **not** be adding multi-way recipe-stealing.
Recipes made specifically for Ars Nouveau will always take priority over ones from other mods.
Other mods’ recipes can have their priorities configured in the common config file.
Specific recipes can also be disabled from being taken by putting matching Regular Expressions in the config.
You can obtain a recipe’s ID using [EMI](https://modrinth.com/mod/emi).
Usage of [Almost Unified](https://modrinth.com/mod/almost-unified) is highly recommended, although it is not
required for the mod to function as it will reduce functionally duplicated recipes.

Adds [Polymorph](https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/polymorph) support for [Ars Nouveau](https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/ars-nouveau)’s Storage Lecterns, allowing you to craft items that use the same ingredients from the Storage Lectern’s terminal.
When a group of ingredients matches more than one recipe, a button will appear above the output slot. Pushing this button will show a list of all possible results and selecting one will change the crafting output to match. Polymorph will also remember the last selection as long as the ingredients don’t change, so repeated crafting actions are possible on the same selection.

Ars Nouveau x Tensura: Reincarnated Compatibility
This datapack adds a compatibility for Ars Nouveau (and Ars Elemental) x Tensura: Reincarnated by adding EP to tools and gear, skills and ep to entities and other miscellaneous stuff.

Added EP to all of its tools and gears.
Added the Wilden Chimera as a non possessable, non charmable entity, as a boss for hero awakening and counting for boss kills for race requirements.
Wilden Chimera, Guardian and Stalker drops Medium Quality Crystals when killed.

## Mana Unification
The core of Ars ‘n’ Spells: **five configurable modes** that control how the two mana pools interact.

## Gear & Spell Integration
* **Gear perks cross over** — Ars armor bonuses apply to Iron’s mana pool (and vice versa), depending on your active mode.
* **Spell scaling** — Ars spell potency scales with Iron’s spell power attributes. Elemental bonuses are applied based on your first glyph.
* **Enchantments** — Mana-related enchantments from both mods are respected regardless of which pool is active.

## Resonance
When your mana is nearly full (above 95% by default), you gain a **Resonance bonus** that boosts Iron’s spell damage. A reward for mana-efficient play.

## Cross-Mod Progression & Affinity
* **Progression sharing** — Casting Ars spells grants Iron’s school progression, and vice versa.
* **Affinity tracking** — The mod tracks your spell school usage over time, with optional decay for unused schools.

## Unified Cooldowns
An optional system that groups similar spells across both mods into shared cooldown categories. Prevents spell spam by locking out related spells when one is cast. Disabled by default.

## Covenant of the Seven Integration
When **Covenant of the Seven** (Sanctified Legacy) is installed, two powerful ring systems unlock.
### Ring of Seven Curses — Life Point Casting
Wearing the Cursed Ring converts all mana costs into **Life Points (LP)**.
* **Blood Magic Priority** _(default)_ — Draws LP from Blood Magic’s Soul Network first, falls back to player health.
* **Blood Magic Only** — Soul Network only.
* **Health Only** — Always costs health (100 LP = 5 hearts).
If you run out of LP:
* **Safe Mode** _(default)_ — Spell is cancelled, you take 1 heart of damage.
* **Death Mode** — The spell casts… but it kills you.
LP costs scale with configurable base multipliers and per-tier scaling.
### Ring of Seven Virtues — Aura Casting
Wearing the Virtue Ring converts mana costs into **Aura**, a custom resource that regenerates over time (default: 10/sec, 1000 max pool). Aura persists through death and dimension changes. If you run dry, the spell simply fails.
### Blasphemy Curios — School Discounts
Thirteen Blasphemy curio variants (Fire, Ice, Lightning, Holy, Ender, Blood, Evocation, Nature, Eldritch, Aqua, Geo, Wind, Dormant) each provide:
* **15% base mana discount** on all spells
* **+10% bonus** when the spell’s school matches the curio’s element (25% total)
Discounts stack multiplicatively with ring costs. A fully kitted setup can reach up to **40% off**.

## Scroll Cost Enforcement
Iron’s Spellbooks scrolls now respect your resource costs:

## FAQ / Troubleshooting
**Q: Ars mana isn’t changing in ISS Primary mode.** A: Make sure Iron’s Spells ‘n Spellbooks (3.15.x) is installed. Check logs for mixin load failures.
**Q: I see two mana bars.** A: Verify your mana mode is set correctly. Check for overlay conflicts from other UI mods.
**Q: “Insufficient LP” even though I have enough hearts.** A: Make sure `lp_source_mode` isn’t set to `BLOOD_MAGIC_ONLY` without Blood Magic installed. The default (`BLOOD_MAGIC_PRIORITY`) falls back to health.
**Q: Scrolls are casting for free.** A: Check that `scroll_cost_mode` is set to `full` (the default).

## Introduction
Ars Magica: Legacy is a port of Mithion’s [Ars Magica 2](https://mc-mods.cf/ars-magica-2) for 1.18.1+.
It features an exciting way of creating spells, which can be used in several ways to buff yourself, serve as a tool replacement, fight against mobs and much more!
As of now, the mod is still actively developed. This means that many features are not yet implemented and some may not work yet.

## Getting Started
**1.19 and above**
In plains and plains-like biomes, you will rarely find puddles of Liquid Essence. Craft an Arcane Compendium with a book and a Liquid Essence Bucket. It will then guide you through the mod.
**1.18 and below**
In the underground, you will find a variety of ores added by this mod. The most common of those is Vinteum Ore. Craft an Arcane Compendium with a book and a piece of Vinteum Dust. It will then guide you through the mod.

– A spellcrafting system that allows you to put together your own spell, letting you choose from over 100 unique spell parts
– Magic XP that increases with using spells, allowing you to perform more powerful spells the higher your level is
– A unique and balanced Mana & Burnout mechanic
– A total of 10 affinities to shift into, that each give you unique buffs and debuffs depending on how deep your shift is

This mod requires Patchouli ([CurseForge](https://mc-mods.cf/patchouli) / [Modrinth](https://modrinth.com/mod/patchouli)) version 1.18-58 or newer for the in-game documentation.
From version 1.2.0 onwards, this mod requires GeckoLib ([CurseForge](https://mc-mods.cf/geckolib) / [Modrinth](https://modrinth.com/mod/geckolib)).
This mod has optional integration with [JEI](https://mc-mods.cf/jei), [Curios](https://mc-mods.cf/curios) and [The One Probe](https://mc-mods.cf/the-one-probe).
This mod is not compatible with OptiFine or most similar mods, due to them breaking rendering internals.
## Bugs & Crashes
If your game crashes upon starting, please check if you have downloaded all dependencies in the right versions (see above) and if you are on the newest Forge version.
If it still crashes, please check if it is an incompatibility with another mod. To do that, remove all mods except Ars Magica: Legacy and the dependencies and re-add one mod by another. When you have found an incompatibility, create a [GitHub issue](https://github.com/Minecraftschurli/ArsMagicaLegacy/issues) (only if none with the same error does not exist yet) and put Incompatibility with <Mod Name> in the title.
