"Minecraft is a game about breaking and placing blocks."

AlterBeta seeks to make Minecraft fully embody that statement, while also bringing it back to a simpler time, akin to a hybrid of Beta 1.7.3 and Release 1.2.5. Creativity should be encouraged, and the player should have the ability to make their world into something they truly own.

Contents include:

- New world generation that seeks to mix Beta 1.7.3 and Release 1.2.5 - New building blocks, and new variants and purposes for older ones. - A health overhaul that works much like Valheim's. - Online multiplayer through a friend system. - An overhaul to enchanting to make it fair and to break up the current meta. - New potions and alchemy, making it something people will more likely use. - A magical equivalent to redstone revolving around language. - New redstone utilities. - Better minecarts with new rails. - Gravity generators powered by amethyst. - Equipment qualities that can be reforged at an anvil. - Enchantment stones that can be used to preserve enchantments upon breaking a tool. - Music composition tools. - Cameras and photo printing. - Painting. - 32 dye total dye colors, though not all can be used for everything color-related. - Horse stat leveling. - Horse-drawn carts. - New ships, and airships. - Copper equipment. - New UI elements to help with screenshot and replay management. - And more!
