Apothic Compat

Apothic Compat

Adds Apotheosis loot category compatibility for modded weapons, armor, and tools that are missing or have incorrect category assignments. Without proper categories, modded gear cannot roll the right Apotheosis affixes or accept gem sockets.

What it does

Apothic Compat uses Apotheosis's official IMC override API to register modded items into the correct loot categories. This means:

- Weapons can roll the affixes appropriate to their type - Items can accept gem sockets that match their category - No mixins, no access transformers, no patching

Supported mods

Direct compat modules for:

- L'Ender's Cataclysm - Iron's Spellbooks - Tetra - Simply Swords - Spartan Weaponry - Epic Knights - Mowzie's Mobs - Soulslike Weaponry - Forbidden and Arcanus - Alex's Mobs - Alex's Caves - EpicFight Resurrection - EpicFight Nightfall - Bosses of Mass Destruction - Meet Your Fight - Enigmatic Legacy - Samurai Dynasty - Dread Steel - Weapons of Miracles - Knight Quest - Born in Chaos - Celestisynth - Deeper and Darker - Armageddon

Plus a universal fallback that catches any other weapon mod by item class.

Config

A config file is generated at `config/apothic_compat.toml` on first launch. You can add custom item and tag overrides without writing any code, just edit the file and reload.

Reload commands: `/apothiccompat reload` or `/ac reload` (op level 2). Skips automatically if the config has not been modified.

Requirements

- Minecraft 1.20.1 - Forge 47.x - Apotheosis 7.4.x (required, available on CurseForge)

All other mods are soft dependencies and only activate if the target mod is present.

Compatibility

Server side only. Safe to add or remove from existing worlds.
