Definitely Vanilla + is (obviously) a vanilla+ mod that adds various little things to make minecraft better, withought making it too flooded with new features and itens, and if you still find it difficult, we have at the right side of the inventory the mod JEI to help in your journey.

The most notable mods are: 1. Deeper & darker & Aether: changes the world generation 2. Deeper & darker & Aether: overhalls the entire nether and end dimensions to make it better 3. Deeper & darker & Aether: enhances the multiplayer experience by making incredibly easy to start a multiplayer world and tweaks a bit to make multiplayer better 4.
