Iffex's Easy Additions

This is a simple data pack that adds some vanilla friendly additions to your world such as quality of life or new recipes that should already exist in vanilla minecraft.

Gameplay Features:

Improved Fishing

- Replaces the vanilla treasure loot table with three new crates containing the original loot plus some extra goodies. These include the Wooden Crate, Iron Crate, and Golden Crate - Added a new enchantment: "Ocean's Fortune", it slightly increases the chance of fishing up treasure crates and decreases the time between each catch. It can be found through fishing or enchanting a fishing rod. Ocean's Fortune can stack with Lure and Luck of the Sea - You can fish up mobs, such as a Drowned, these will drop loot and some additional crates - Luck of the Sea's maximum level is 5 instead of 3

Random Zombie Size

- Zombies can randomly spawn up to 15% bigger or smaller than a vanilla Zombie

Gravel Washing

- Gravel turns into sand when dropped into a cauldron filled with water, allowing for a new source of renewable sand

Armored Elytra

- Using a Netherite Ingot with an Elytra and a Netherite Upgrade Temple inside a Smithing Table, you can add armor to your eltra

Alchemist Villager Type

- A new potion related villager that can spawn instead of a cleric villager. The Alchemist can buy or sell potion related items, ingredients, and even potions

Void Hopper

- A craftable block that sucks up items in a large radius

New Advancements

- Several new advancements, similar to the base game, have been added

Quality of Life Features:

Melon Rework

- Melon blocks now drop themselves when mined, meaning fortune or silk touch is no longer needed - Melon slices can be crafted using a single melon block

Iron Golem Healing

- Naturally spawing Iron Golems now slowly restore health over time

Personal Piston

- Similar to the 2023 Mob Vote's Crab Claw, the Personal Piston is a craftable item that increases the player's placement range by one block

Improved Blast Furnace Functionality

- Most furnace recipes have been put into the blast Furnace except dyes and glazed terracotta. - Raw iron, copper, and gold blocks can now be smelted in a blast furnace into their smelted block form (Raw Copper Block -> Copper Block)

Block of Quartz Conversion Recipe

- Block of Quartz can be crafted back into four quartz

New Recipes:

Name Tag Recipe

- Adds a name tag recipe

Invisible Item Frame

- An invisible item frame that allows for decoration or storage room organization

Music Disc Recipe

- Music discs dropped from Creepers can be crafted into other music discs dropped from Creepers using a stonecutter

Leaf Litter Recipe

- Leaf litter can be crafted using any leaf block
