Mel Medical
A direct inspiration of Escape From Tarkov and implementing injury features from the game to Minecraft.
Mel Medical

Curios API is required, First Aid mod is reccomended.
Announcements
Due to there being no updates to First Aid 1.21.1 NeoForge, it's not reccomended to use this mod at its current state until there is a port or direct update by the mod developer.
*This mod will soon see another complete code overhaul somewhere in the foreseeable future, I'll start development somewhere next month or weeks after this description update [4/17/2026]. Which will completely remove the MCreator code with fresh Java code. I want this mod to live up to the expectations and be as optimized as possible. Expect development to take a couple months, I'm learning.*
Description
Mel Medical is a lightweight medical mod that's primarily based on the game, "Escape From Tarkov".
The mod features medical items such as medical kits, injectors, and much more to enhance your gameplay.
Please note that this mod is best paired with the "First Aid" mod! It gives much better purpose and immersion for most of the medical items that are featured inside EFM.
%%MD0%%:
- "Bleeding": Small chance for the player to receive a bleeding effect from taking any source of damage
- "On Painkillers": Prevents effects caused by the "First Aid" mod.
- "Severe Injury": a rare injury that causes death when the player is less than or equal to 3 full hearts (6 HP). This injury is more likely to happen when the player is bleeding and taking damage. It can be prevented/stopped by using the new "PAI" or CMS Kit.
- "Fracture": An injury that only occurs AND CAN STACK when the player takes fall damage. This injury will make the player take damage once they begin sprinting.
- "Fresh Wound": An effect that only occurs after successfully removing "Bleeding". Once the duration is over, it has a chance of causing another "Bleeding" effect.
%%MD0%%:
- First Aid Kits (Salewa, CAR kit, AI-2 kit): First aid medical items that can heal you. All medical kits besides the AI-2 can prevent bleeding in cost of greater durability damage.
- Painkillers (AI-2, Injectors, Ibuprofen, and Augmentin): Gives the "On Painkillers" effect
- Misc. (Bandages, Splints, Surgery Kits): Medical items that can fix injury types like "Bleeding", "Fractures", and "Sever Injuries".
%%MD0%%:
- The Injectors Station and The Injectors Station offers ease of access to crafting medical items, allowing the player to use less resources when crafting medical.
Known Bugs and Issues
Spoiler
Car Kit not stopping "Bleeding Effect" - Unfortunately, I can't fix this bug as I've lost the workspace for the mod since I updated it to 1.21.1 for people who wanted the mod on that version. It'll be addressed and fixed when the mod is completely rewritten in Java instead of MCreator's code which won't be for awhile. Due to my own negligence, and me completely forgetting to make a backup file for the 1.20.1 versions I can't currently go through the effort of fixing it because that would require me to rewrite a majority of the code.

This Mod is Entirely developed with MCreator!
This mod is purely a passion project. I've been working on this mod for over 2 years now, putting in time that I have into the mod, testing and pushing it to it's absolute limit. The whole entire mod is developed under MCreator. Due to MCreator's limitations and my own extremely limited knowledge in coding, some bugs may take time to fix and some unintentional "features" may remain in the mod.
Anyway, I really hope you guys enjoy this. This mod isn't only to impliment features from the famous extraction shooter, "*Escape From Tarkov*", but also to reflect my progress both in MCreator and in my art.
