Why did I make it?

My idea was born when I attempted to make a string farm, but Mojang patched the duplication bug. Then I thought it would be a good idea to create a datapack that adds a recipe to craft strings from any block of wool.

A Useful Datapack

This datapack gives more value to your wool farm and provides an alternative use for the carpet duplication farm.

RECIPES

1 block of wool → 4 strings

1 carpet → 2 strings

Problems

To unlock the recipes, you need to craft them manually the first time, but I'm working on fixing this!

You can manually unlock the recipe with:

``` /recipe give @s ez_wool:wool_to_string ```

``` /recipe give @s ez_wool:carpet_to_string ```
