Gameplay Settings

Determines the consequence of elimination.

true = Players are banned from the server upon death.

false = Players are set to Spectator mode upon death.

useBan: false

Visual Effects

Shows the Totem of Undying particle effect to the player being revived.

show-totem: true

Shows the Totem of Undying particle effect to the player performing the revival.

show-totem-reviver: true

Custom Recipe Configuration

Defines the crafting recipe for the revival item.

The numbers 1-9 represent the slots in a 3x3 crafting grid (1 is top-left, 9 is bottom-right).

IMPORTANT: Use valid Material names (e.g., DIAMOND_BLOCK, NETHERITE_INGOT).

Invalid names will cause errors

Commands to run for Events

These commands are run from the console.

Use {PLAYER_DEAD} for the victim and {PLAYER_KILLER} for the attacker.

Only works if killed by player not command

Message Configuration

- You can use standard Bukkit color codes (e.g., &a for green, &c for red).

- To disable a specific message, set it to an empty string: ""

Elimination Messages

{PLAYER_DEAD} - The name of the player who died.

{PLAYER_KILLER} - The name of the killer (Only available in kill-message).

kill-message: "&c[HeadSteal]: {PLAYER_DEAD} is killed by {PLAYER_KILLER} !!" kill-by-command-message: "&c[HeadSteal]: {PLAYER_DEAD} is killed"

Revival Messages

{PLAYER_DEAD} - The name of the player being revived.

{PLAYER_REVIVER} - The name of the player reviving them (Only available in revive-message).

revive-message: "&a[HeadSteal]: {PLAYER_DEAD} is revived by {PLAYER_REVIVER} !!" revive-by-command-message: "&a[HeadSteal]: {PLAYER_DEAD} is revived"

Ban/Kick Messages (Used when useBan is true)

These messages are displayed on the screen of the player being kicked/banned.

{PLAYER_KILLER} - The name of the killer (Only available in kick-message).

kick-message: "&c[HeadSteal]: {PLAYER_KILLER} killed you !!" kick-by-command-message: "&c[HeadSteal]: You are killed !!"

Error and Status Messages

{PLAYER} - The target player name referenced in the command.

Sent when a player who has never joined the server.

player-never-played: "&c[HeadSteal]: {PLAYER} Has Never Played on this server !!"

Sent when attempting to revive a player who is currently alive.

player-not-eliminated: "&c[HeadSteal]: {PLAYER} is not dead yet !!"

Sent when attempting to eliminate a player who is already dead/banned.

player-already-eliminated: "&c[HeadSteal]: {PLAYER} already eliminated !!"

Sent to an eliminated player if they attempt to join (Used when useBan is true).

player-still-eliminated: "&c[HeadSteal]: You are still eliminated !"

Miscellaneous Messages

Sent when placing a head that lacks valid owner data.

name-on-head-notvalid: "&c[HeadSteal]: Name on Head Not Valid !!"

Sent if the head item's data is corrupted.

head-broken-cant-be-fixed: "&c[HeadSteal]: This head is broken and cant be fixed !!"

Sent to players with admin permissions who join while eliminated.

admin-join-override: "&a[HeadSteal]: You are still eliminated but joined with admin override"

Sent when an eliminated player tries to teleport.

not-allowed-to-tp-after-death: "&c[HeadSteal]: Not allowed to Teleport after Death"

Sent when a player lacks the required permission node for a command.

no-permission: "&c[HeadSteal]: You don't have permission !!" ```

Headsteal

A thrilling addition to your Minecraft anarchy server

What is Headsteal?

Headsteal is a new game mechanic for Minecraft anarchy servers that adds an extra layer of challenge and excitement to PvP encounters. When a player is killed, their head drops as loot, and if the head is picked up by another player, the killed player is banned from the server until their head is placed back down.
