Minirounds
A datapack for minirounds that allows you to manage multiple things such as Border Close, Red Winter, Starting Kits, and more!
Minirounds
Did you ever want to host a miniround before, but the setup was just too difficult? Well here's a datapack to make it easier!
This datapack is a collaboration with _kattso's Boogey Assist_ datapack as well as _mittensDev's Nice Life: Eternal Winter datapack._.
This datapack depends on Mat0u5's Life Series Mod. It is not needed, BUT HIGHLY recommend!
Feel free to use this datapack for your minirounds, but credits on any videos uploaded would be appreciated!
This datapack is in Beta and bugs are going to be prevelant! Report any bugs in our discord server.
Kattso’s Boogey Assist Datapack
mittensDev's Nice Life: Eternal Winter Datapack
> A miniround is a short mini version of Grian's Life Series, or called a "Special." They usually last 3 hours and are basically a short version of any of its seasons.
Setup
Simply install the datapack and give yourself the 'admin' tag.
``` /tag @s add admin ``` Or to anyone else that you want to make admin.
You NEED the Life Series Mod for most of the datapack's features. Limited Life though is incompatible with some features of the mod, for now. To enable Boogey Assist, write
``` /lifeseries config ```
In chat. Scroll down to the Events tab until you find "Boogeyman Cure Reward" and type this beside it:
``` /function boogey:cured ```
List of Features
- Mining Prevention - Anti-Nether Camping - "Waiting For Players" mode - Start countdown & warnings - Chooseable kits + official MCTiers kits - Custom Red Winter from Grian's 'Nice Life' - Worldborder Closing upon everyone being on 1 life - Winner announcement - Adventure mode & weakness/regen at the start of minis - Hosting menu - Config - Custom Yellow Winter - Adds a timer that manages the Boogeyman success and fail mechanics - Eternal Nice Life Winter - Late joins management - Auto-Boogey - Reset sky color, or make it red/yellow from hosting menu
How To: Host + Config
After giving yourself the admin tag, you can do /trigger hosting to open up a hosting menu. Here you can click start and other options of hosting (or not.)
``` /trigger hosting ```
If you just want to immediately start, without any countdowns, time warnings, etc., do
``` /trigger start ```
If you wanna config certain features of the datapack, like if Red Winter is on or not (example,) do
``` /trigger config ```
which also uses Clickable menus for your convenience.
When you are done with the miniround, reset lives, and then do
``` /reload ```
