Small Ships Upgrades

A simple implmentation of upgrade items for [Small Ships](https://github.com/talhanation/smallships)

## Items

There are three items implemented, one for each major ship attribute: speed, health, and cargo.

– `smallships_upgrades:speed_upgrade`
– `smallships_upgrades:health_upgrade`
– `smallships_upgrades:cargo_upgrade`

To apply an upgrade, right click on a ship with it. If the ship has enough upgrade slots to
accept the upgrade, the upgrade item will be consumed and the appropriate attribute will be increased.

### Note

The mod adds these items, but does not add recipes for them or add them to loot tables. You’ll have to do that yourself.

## Configuration

### upgradeRecyclePercentage
The percentage of upgrade items to drop when the ship is destroyed, rounding up. Defaults to 100.

### speedIncrement
The number of points to increase a ship’s speed for each upgrade applied. Defaults to 10.

### healthIncrement
The number of points to increase a ship’s health for each upgrade applied. Defaults to 20.

### cargoIncrement
The number of 9-slot rows to add to the ship’s cargo capacity for each upgrade applied. Defaults to 6 (54 slots, one
full page).

### caps

A list of upgrade caps for each ship type, in the format

Unknown ship types will be ignored. If there are duplicate entries for a ship type, the last entry wins.

This resource pack makes the cannons reflective like real iron and adds bump mapping textures on ships !

I use Neapik RTX to get PBR on vanilla blocks and fit with this resource pack

## Explanation

– Place the ship far away into water – they need space to spawn.
– Right-click to sit in the ship.
– **While sitting in the Ship:**
– Press **R** to open/close the sail.
– **W / S** to increase or decrease sail speed.
– Third Person View (**F5**) + Mousewheel = Adjust camera distance.
– Right-click an entity to dismount it from the ship.
– To open inventory outside of the ship: **crouch + right-click**.

### Cannons
– Add a cannon with right-click while holding one.
– Shoot cannons with **Space** while looking in their direction (requires cannonballs in ship inventory).
– Remove a cannon with a pickaxe.
– Key-binds can be changed in options.

## Detailed Features

### Ship Performance
– **Cold-water ships** → 10% faster in cold biomes, 10% slower in warm.
– **Warm-water ships** → 10% faster in warm biomes, 10% slower in cold.
– Each cannon decreases speed by **2.5%**.
– Cargo can decrease speed by up to **10%**.

### Sail Coloring
– Right-click with dye to color sails.

### Ship Repairing
– Repair with iron nuggets and planks.

### Ship Naming
– Use a nametag to name your ship.

### Leashing *(1.18.2 – 1.20.6)*
– Tether ships (only if no player is controlling them).

– Speed: **40 km/h**, Hull: **300 HP**.

– Two-masted medieval trade ship (cold water).

– Speed: **45 km/h**, Hull: **400 HP**.

### Galley
– Naval warfare ship (warm water).
– **54 slots**, **9 passengers**.
– Speed: **40 km/h**, Hull: **200 HP**.

### Drakkar
– Viking-style ship (cold water).
– **54 slots**, **11 passengers**, ice-breaker ability.
– Shields with banner patterns for defense.
