SASL – PROJECT COLOSSUS
End User License Agreement (EULA) – Version 2.8
Effective Date: 22 January 2026

1. Grant of License
This Agreement grants the Licensee a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use SASL v2.8 (“Software”) on a Single Logical Network (e.g., a standalone server, BungeeCord, or Velocity cluster controlled by the Licensee).
This license permits execution of the Software in compiled form only.
No ownership rights are transferred under this Agreement.

2. Intellectual Property
The Software, including but not limited to:
Source code
Compiled binaries
Architectural design
State transition mechanisms
Data synchronization logic
Automated recovery systems
are the exclusive intellectual property of the Developer.
This Software is proprietary and not open source.
The Licensee may not:
Decompile, reverse engineer, or disassemble the Software
Modify or create derivative works
Redistribute or resell the Software
Extract internal logic for replication purposes
Except where such restriction is prohibited by applicable law.

3. Data Ownership
All player data, configuration data, and server-generated records remain the property of the Licensee.
The Developer claims no ownership over server-side player data.
However, manipulation of internal metadata structures (including PDC tags, database schema, or internal identifiers) may void support eligibility.

4. Updates & Support
Minor updates (2.x series) are included under this license.
Major version upgrades (3.0+) may require a separate licensing agreement.
Support is provided at the Developer’s discretion and may be revoked in cases of license violation.

5. Warranty Disclaimer
The Software is provided “AS IS” without warranty of any kind, express or implied.
The Developer does not guarantee uninterrupted operation or compatibility with third-party plugins or modified server environments.

6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
The Developer shall not be liable for:
Data loss
Server instability
Financial loss
Indirect or consequential damages
Total liability, if any, shall not exceed the amount paid for the license.

7. Termination
This license automatically terminates if the Licensee violates any provision of this Agreement.
Upon termination, the Licensee must cease all use of the Software and remove it from all servers.

8. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Developer’s registered jurisdiction.
Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or the appropriate court of jurisdiction.

9. Entire Agreement
This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties regarding the Software and supersedes any prior communications.
