The Darkness Will Find You
A merciless Deep Dark horror experience
The Darkness Will Find You

The Darkness Will Find You expands the Deep Dark into a harsher and more dangerous horror experience built around sculk, darkness and survival.
The Curse of Darkness is a progression-based threat that begins when the player draws the attention of the sculk. Once the curse starts, nights become unsafe, sleeping is no longer reliable, dark dimensions become even more dangerous and the world begins to react: sculk spreads, creatures gather, unsettling events occur and the player is forced to search for protection, knowledge and a way to end the curse. To survive, players will need to explore buried structures, study the sculk, craft new equipment, use strange magical items and trade with a new villager profession. New creatures, underground structures, progression systems and configurable horror events keep the Deep Dark threatening long after the player first enters it.
Features: - A survival-focused curse built around the Deep Dark - Unique horror events tied to sculk, darkness, sleep and night - Dangerous sculk creatures with custom behavior - New underground structures to discover - New equipment and magical items for survival and progression - Sculk-based crafting and processing mechanics - A new villager profession with unique trades - An in-game guide with unlockable chapters - Advancement-based progression and recipe unlocks
Compatibility and recommend mods: - Sculk Horde and Sculk Horde are recommended for the best experience. Sculk Horde shows the mod's custom recipes, while Sculk Horde helps with villager profession and trade information - Sculk Horde is compatible with most Deep Dark-related mods, such as Sculk Horde, Sculk Horde and Sculk Horde - For the intended challenge it's recommended to keep the balance between player damage and the Warden's health close to vanilla Minecraft: the mod is designed around the Warden remaining a serious threat - The mod is highly configurable, so it can be adjusted for many modpacks through config files, tags, recipes and datapacks
